This apartment is located about 480m above sea level: the air is fresh in fall and spring, pleasant in summer. From here you can enjoy a splendid view over the valley of Santerno. Not far away are the beautiful badlands and the Vena del Gesso, very interesting from the point of view of landscape and geology. Nearby is the Stone of San Zenobi and the remains of the Sanctuary of Madonna del Rio. In the surrounding area, within a range of a few km., you will discover towns and villages that preserve historical monuments and above all the atmosphere of the past and traditions.

Sassoleone is the ideal place to rest in contact with nature. You can go for long walks in the woods and meadows and gather wild fruits and herbs, asparagus, strawberries and blackberries. If you prefer you can go mountain-biking, horse riding or fishing at the lake. Do not miss the children's playground and bowling green and go for a walk to see the fawns. In the summer, if you go to Castel del Rio, you can bathe in the river and in the nearby Fontanelice you have a pool available in the Conca Verde Park.

This apartment is owned by a family that also runs a farm with Restaurant 2km away.The pool you see on the pictures is next to the restaurant and you can use it without problems. The restaurant has great food and combines the flavors of the two regions, Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. In the kitchen are used only natural, season products.
