Want a day of shopping or culture? Rondez (60 km) is Aveyron's capital: the cradle of some of France's most beautiful creations; from Laguiole knifes to Roquefort cheese. Millau's viaduct (with its 2460 metre bridge!) is certainly worth a visit. Also don't miss Albi, with its distinctive red brick buildings, a wonderful town to spend a day.
