This vacation home is the first house of the quiet village of Montclus. It has been beautifully renovated and a perfect place to stay for your vacation. You will find a lovely bottle of rosé upon your arrival, complements of the owners. From your kitchen window and the courtyard you enjoy a splendid view onto the lavender fields and the lovely mountain range. There is an old silkworm farm attached to the house, no longer in use. There is a covered terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbeque. The courtyard besides the house is the perfect spot for a game of jeu-de-boules. The interior is brand new, immaculate and very pretty.

Montclus is a picturesque medieval village, population 150. Not for nothing it is classified as "Un des plus beaux villages de France". Sitting on a hill, surrounded by green mountains at the foot of a babbling brook, the Cèze (200 m) is a perfect spot for a swim. Small, steep streets, lovely stone houses and the imposing remnants of the square tower of an old castle all give this village a wonderful cachet. Lavender fields are everywhere in this area, amazing to see when they are in bloom.
