The house "Fleckenstein" is sunny and quiet, very easy to get on the road to Winkelmatten. The main offerings of Zermatt is about the following distances:
- 50 meters to the bus stop
- 300 meters to restaurants, bars, grocery store
- 500 meters to the Matterhorn cable car
- 500 meters to village center
Ideal starting point for many hikes in and around Zermatt
Take the local bus (50m from the house Fleckenstein). There is an easy access to the various mountain railways, the railway station to the center. The use of local bus service in the winter for a ski pass holder is free.
