The house is build in 1862 and is now a protected monument as a fine example of neo classical building in the 19th century of the Hague.We offer a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, single bedroom with view of the canal, seperate toilet and winecellar, lounge with canal view, diningroom with sunroom and kitchen, a very sunny garden with an extra room in the back for 2 (or 3) and an upstairs studio with bathroom for 2.
Everything is within walking distance, you will have an italian trattoria and Side walk cafe's as your neighbours, supermarkets (regular and biological) bakery's , a postoffice and a myriad of the cutest little shops and restaurants in 'het Hofkwartier' ( the Court's Quarter). Also the worldfamous 'Girl with a pearl Earring' lives withing walking distances from you in the Mauritshuis! We even have a Dock in the canal in front of the house where you can step on one of the boats that tour you around the Hague's canals!
The house has a great view of the canal in front of the Royal Palace Garden, if you get up early enough, you can see His Royal Highness King Willem Alexander drive into the park early in the morning to go to work in Palace Noordeinde.
Only 4 tramstops from Central station with Tram 17 till stop at Noorwal. From there it is a two minute walk along the canal that just has been completely renewed and restored.
