This year round mountain cabin retreat in Pine, AZ is located
about 110 miles north of Phoenix, where the Mogollon Rim, tall pine trees and cool mountain creeks come together. Pine is a small quaint and often quite rustic village, it's the perfect place to pull up the draw bridge for an authentic
western mountain experience.
Our Cabin is called "Greenwood Cabin" and is about 1100 sq ft, complete with 2 bed rooms, cathedral ceilings, and
sky lights, a Scandinavian wood stove, full kitchen, full bath and great outdoor space.
We have WI-FI and super fast internet, flat screen TV with a blu ray and unlimited Net Flix and a DVD collection for your viewing pleasure. There is no phone and be warned it's super quiet. Often the sound of a pine cone falling on the roof will be all you hear. We think you will enjoy our "home away from home" it's relaxing, manageable and somewhat secluded
from the outside world.
We have the visitor from time to time, Matilda a wild white tail deer comes a calling looking for a carrot, also there are Javelinas, rabbits, and lots of beautiful birds to see.\r\n\r\nIf you are in need of people there are a couple of pubs, diners and thrift stores within a good walk, be warned it's all downhill. Our village of Pine, AZ is located about 15 miles NW of Payson, AZ a much larger town of 25,000+ where there are more eateries, golfing, shopping... Yes, a Wal-Mart and of course a Casino with lots of penny machines.
The cabin is complete with everything you might need for a
short or extended stay. There is plenty of basic spices, pots and pans and even a dishwasher. Both bedrooms have queen beds and the appropriate linens and lots of towels. The hot water is plentiful as well as the mountain air.
You won't be disappointed with this cabin, but be warned it's hard to see from the road, or that might be a good thing
