Cisterna's House, Castelo de Bode

The cottage is situated in its own piece of land of approx 0,2ha and has beautiful & spectacular views to the country side, all round. It's quite, peaceful and private but not isolated as it is located close to the village Montes.

The house has approx. 100 square meters whom includes an upper floor with livingroom with fireplace, a kitchen with a cozy table meal area with view to the orange tree orchard, a bathroon and 2 bed rooms: one with 1 double bed and another with a sofa bed; a lower floor constituted for an open space with a double bed and a relax area with one wood burning iron fireplace.
In the garden there are several old grape vines growing as well as olive and orange trees. so you can find terraced zones, where is possible to get a sun as well as shaded zones, where one can have picturesque meals or sleep in hammocks.

The cottage is located 1km from the Castelo de Bode lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir, a very popular spot for all kinds of water sports including skiing, sailing, swimming, canoeing and fishing and approximately 15 minutes by car, of the world heritage town of Tomar with it´s historic UNESCO listed castle and monastery, where you can find cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, larger supermarkets, library with internet, hospital and bus and train station.

The cottage is nicely and comfortably furnished for you to spend unforgettable holidays, with family or friends.
