This beautiful Mediterranean villa is located in the heart of Mostar at only 7 minutes walk from the old bridge. It has 4 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, summer kitchen, Gym room, beautiful garden with a swimming pool and BBQ facilities, and playground for children. The property is surrounded by stone walls which ensure complete privacy and tranquillity. A spacious common living room opens up to the terrace and overlooks the surrounding mountains. The whole property is air-conditioned and there is free Wi-Fi internet connection. Bedrooms are in the first floor. There are 3 double rooms with French beds and one single room. Each room has its own bathroom. Rooms are large and comfortable, each with TV, air-conditioning and wireless internet access. The single room has an office desk. The entire Old Town area is full of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and galleries. The owners of the villa will gladly organize splendid BBQ evenings with delicious local dishes. When you have dinner in the summer house you will surely appreciate the magnificent landscape of the mountains, but also the roses in the big yard and the murmur of the river Neretva from the back of the garden. Hosts will advise the guests about any day trips, excursions and sightseeing options. Also the owner, a passionate hunter and fisher, can organize hunting (November-February) and fishing (April-November) tours, various water activities on beautiful river Neretva, as well as sports activities like tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball; ping-pong, soccer...
The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. In the 1990s conflict, however, most of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO. The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. The reconstructed Old Bridge and Old City of Mostar is a symbol of reconciliation, international co-operation and of the coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities.
