From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the Cevennes. On the right side of the house there is a vineyard which is separated from the house by a row of trees. 3 km away there is a reasonable large 16th century town with many restaurants. The surrounding area is particularly good for excursions, such as a trip through the Cevennes or along the Ardèche. On Fridays there is a market in Barjac, where you can get everything from fish to Provencal fabrics to lavender soap to fresh fruit. In a nutshell; theres everything for a marvellous holiday!
