The living room offers a colorful lounge area and a cuddly corner with a couch and playing cards. The breakfast is served in the common living room including traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with tea or coffee (continental breakfast is also available).
You will get your own key to the apartment for your convenience.The room is equipped with Mosquito Vaporizers instead of Mosquito Nets.

About The Hosts
We are a Sri Lankan-Austrian multicultural couple living in Sri Lanka and exploring the island and many of its secrets. The idea to provide free travel information fueled by our own experiences was steadily growing and developed into the current evolving online travel guide Backpack to Sri Lanka.

Yoga & Ayurveda
For your physical and spiritual well being you can attend a yoga lesson(Hatha & Flow yoga with Liz or visit the nearby forest temple for meditation. You can receive Ayurveda therapies and massages from Shehan's mother. Her beauty salon is located stone throw away from the house.

Dining
Guests can use our menu to order authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. We keep the menu affordable for the spontaneous traveler. If you decide to stroll around for some local street food there is enough of that to go around the neighborhood as well.

Free Drinking Water
A water dispenser is placed in the living room for your convenience and the water is available free of charge. The water is filtered through few layers of minerals to give a refreshing taste.

Convenient Traveling
For your convenience the direct bus connections to the city center locations as Colombo 3 and Union Place as well as to the Colombo Fort railway station (Pettah) are just a minute walk from the house.

Cheap Airport Transfers & Tuktuks
We can arrange your airport transfer for €16, $22, 2800LKR which is the local price (Normally the airport taxi drivers will charge you €20, $26). You can use the reliable English speaking Meter Tuk Tuk driver for your city tours for a reasonable fare of 35/= LKR per kilometer.
