A very clean, freshly renovated flat that is fully self contained with large ensuite adjacent to our house (not under the house), North West of Brisbane city center. The clean & tidy one bedroom flat has its own secure access and outdoor deck area with a large back yard. Enjoy the cool evening breeze at the end of the day in a peaceful and safe environment or walk to the nearby pubs for dinner and drinks.

The bedroom contains a queen bed, bedside tables, lamps, ceiling fan, full wardrobe, heater for winter, TV. Air-con in the bedroom area, and a portable air cooler is provided for you to move around where you want it.

New alfresco kitchenette with standard size fridge, proper cooking stove, Oven/griller, pots, crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster, microwave, including a kettle bbq for your use.

About Keperra
The suburb boasts a golf course where Greg Norman practiced his techniques (Keperra Golf & Country Club), soccer club (Westside Sports Club), shopping centres (Great Western Shopping centre, Brookside Shopping Centre, Arana Hills Shopping complex and smaller shops close by, a hospital, two railway stations (Keperra and Grovely) and bus services to Mitchelton, The Gap and Ferny Grove.

The railway line running east between Keperra, Grovely, Oxford Park and Mitchelton is within a short walk and will take travelers directly to Brisbane city. A fitness centre is located in the Great Western complex, only 10 minutes walk from the our street. For sporty types, the suburb is excellent for jogging as it is peaceful, safe and provides a varied terrain for those who want a challenge.

For nature lovers, we are close to d'Aguilar National Park up the Samford Road. There are well known bush walking trails in the park. We recommend you to contact one of the local bush walking clubs to arrange for a trip, such as: Bushwalkers of Southern Queensland

Arana Leagues Club on Dawson Parade is a short 5 minutes drive from our home. The club boasts good food and drinks. The Gaythorne RSL is a few bus stops down Samford Road from Blackbutt Street. In the Great Western Shopping Centre there are two pubs, Finnegan's Chin and Litse Lounge. Both serve decent food and drinks and are popular with locals and visitors.

For Vegan/Muslim travelers, we can provide information on vegan/halal food and groceries. Our kitchen is kept very clean and disinfected between visitors. The nearby supermarkets also carry vegan/halal food products for Vegans and Muslims.

An area of vegetation known as Keperra Bushland bounds the suburb to the south on its border with The Gap while the Keperra Picnic Grounds are located in the north-west section at the intersection of Samford Road and Upper Kedron Road. Short drive to Keperra Golf and Country Club (2 streets away and well known in Brisbane)
