This unique detached Almhut with a cosy woodstove is in a fantastic location at an altitude of 1500 m in the mountains near Obervellach. This is truly a "back-to-basics" experience. The chalet has a very spacious terrace and is in a beautiful and pristine part of Austria. You have a fabulous panorama of the surrounding mountains from this terrace. It is so dark and quiet here at night that you feel you could reach out and touch the stars.

The bedrooms are crafted from Zirbenholz, which provides a wonderful atmosphere. You can enjoy some great hiking or snowshoeing on the various trails. If you fancy a day of fantastic skiing, the chalet is not far from the Mölltaler Glacier ski areas and the Ankogel in Mallnitz. The chalet is located on a dead-end road: a 5500-metre surfaced mountain road that turns into an unsurfaced mountain road for 3700 metres.

This road is easily drivable but not for the faint of heart. In winter, the owner can arrange for a shuttle service if you don't want to take your own car all the way to the hut. Enjoy absolute serenity here for an unforgettable holiday.
