Hillside Eden is a hidden brand new upgraded Estate. A big, 6 people full time staffed treasure in the heart of traditional Bali with breathtaking views over the valley and the mountains, which are very hard to find. Set in one of the last remaining untouched parts of the island with 6000 m2 of beautifully manicured grounds with its own Tropical Garden and jungle surroundings. This villa is equipped with everything you might possibly require. But if you're after nightlife and busy streets, then Hillside Eden could be a little too secluded for you.

The natural villa is build on a hillside and guests have complete, exclusive access to the whole property and the villa comprising the spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The 4 bedrooms are fully equipped with all the modern facilities, large windows give a feeling of living in a wondrous tree house, embraced by nature. The big comfortable private balconies have panoramic views of the tropical rainforest and mountains.

From the poolside rooms you can jump from your room directly on your floating beanbag into the pool! Air conditioning which is available in every room is hardly needed thanks to the slightly cooler climate in the mountains at night. The communal room includes a kitchen and an eight person table with views over the valley.

The hospitable staff welcomes you with a smile and provides guests fruit shakes, cocktails and delicious food in your private bar & restaurant or anywhere in the villa or around the property. Breakfast is served or delivered when you wake up overlooking a lush green jungle as far as the eye can see. Hillside Eden offers its guests a Personal Butler and Chef to take care of your all day dining and grazing at the villa. We offer delights of both Asian and Western cuisine with Balinese ingredients, all organic and fresh. Enjoy your lunch on your pool deck or in the Tropical Garden, sit down for a feast with friends and family, have a romantic candlelight dinner under the stars in our garden gazebo or fire up the BBQ for a tasty grill.

The game room on the top floor is full of entertainment: Invite your friends at the pool table or hang around in the beanbags to play videogames on a big LCD screen or watch a movie with surround sound. You can also grab one of the instruments to feed the musician in you. From the sunset balcony you can spend hours watching the breathtaking views and the stars with the telescope provided by the villa.
You can unwind at your private pool with massive views. Have a massage while your kids and friends play in the game room or at the outdoor play facilities.

There is hardly any mosquito inconvenience in the area and during the day you'll see a lot of butterflies in the Tropical Garden. In the late afternoon the area attracts beautiful colored dragonflies from the rainforest. You fall asleep with the sounds of crickets and chirping geckos and wake up with singing birds and a panoramic view over the jungle with a golden glow behind the mountains. An experience you won't soon forget.

The Payangan area and its surrounding valleys and mountains offer guests some outstanding activities during your stay. There are great hiking opportunities around the villa and next to the estate is a small traditional village where you can experience the real Balinese life. Our helpful manager organizes unique and exclusive activities on the property and tours to explore the area, including a breakfast at the refreshing hidden waterfall in the jungle in our backyard.

Your private driver knows the way through Bali and the jungle and can pick you up anywhere and show you the beauty of the island. The property is on a strategic location to explore the island. Within 15 km from the historic center of Ubud and Monkey Forest. From our village in Payangan it is 30 minutes to Elephant Safari Park and Pura Ulun Danu Batur, the second most important temple complex of Bali. 40 minutes ride to the Kintamani Volcano and the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, 50 minutes to the Gunung Kawi Temple with tombs of the Udayana royal family and 60 minutes to Toya Bungkah Hot Springs on the edge of Lake Batur. This and a lot more great places to explore you can find around the Payangan area.
