Rental Details
Saraii Village is a truely unique location that provides guests and eco - agro tourism experience. Located in an agro-forestry land in Wirawila, Hambantota District, in the Sourthern Province of Sri Lanka the accommodation units are made out of mud, each mud hut comes with an amazing natural tree house and your own open air bathroom... Restaurant and hang out area is also available for you and your friends.
The mud chalets are designed for 2 people with a bed larger than a King size, and are very comfortable and tastfully set up... Sitting area is available at the front porch and this is great to hang out with friends.
If you wish, we can add 3 single mattresses and create this space to accommodate 3 extra people. You still pay the same rate, no extra chargers. Breakfast for extra people is not included. Only 2 people will get free breakfast as specified.
You pay a per accommodation unit rate and not per person. Which is a great saving for you...
You will have access to a professional chef and a caretaker at the premises.You can select meals from a menu that we will provide or you can bring your provisions and request the chef to prepare you meal but a fee of 5 USD will be charged per person per meal for this service.
Breakfast for 2 will be free of charge. WIFI is available free of charge.
Ensure you switch off electric switches and turn off running water when not in use, as we like to keep our carbon foot print low.
Saraii Village is close to many interesting sites, such as the Yala Nature Reserve, Bundala Bird Santuray & Nature Reserve, Lunugamwehera Nature Reserve, Wirawila Tank, Kirinda Beach, great for surfing, diving, dolphine & whale watching. Famous religious site, Kataragama is located 30 - 45 mins away, with many more attractions available for you.
We can arrange for responsible tours within the nature reserves and visits to places of interest around this location.
