Praia da Areia Branca it's a small town which lies at a distance of 10 minutes from Peniche and 45 minutes from Lisbon (by car).
You're always so close to the beach that you can watch the waves. We can find at the beach, cafes, bars and restaurants where you can watch the sunset or have some fun at night. You will also find many other services such as supermarkets, bakeries, surf shops and everything you need for your day-to-day. For more specific subjects such as banks or government identities you can go to the town of Lourinhã.
Lourinhã is a small and nice village that's located 60 Kms from Lisbon. You can easily get to Lourinhã by the A8 highway.
The village presents an area of 146 Kms, with 23000 habitants in all of its 11 parishes.
Our coast has an extension of about 12 Kms, where you can find wonderful beaches such as Praia da Areia Branca, Peralta, Areal and Valmitão...
Everywhere we can find historical and cultural monuments such as Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Anunciação ( Igreja do Castelo), Igreja de Santo António (Historical church) and Paimogo fortress. You can as well visit the Jurassic museum (Lourinhã is the Dinosaur European Capital).
Gastronomically, Lourinhã is also very highly rated and has several regional dishes such as seafood and fish from the shore. It is still worth pointing out the lamb stew, the Sarrabulho, snails and the very traditional dry fish.
