Rental Details
Share the bathroom with the other guest(s) from the other room. Guests of both rooms will share a separate entrance from the main house, living/dining area and a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. You will also have access to a washer/dryer. Free Parking is available in the driveway or along the street. Or walk 1 mile (15 minutes to the metro station).
The main house is occupied by the two of us with our senior dog. The entire section was remodeled in July 2012. The room is fully furnished with a queen bed for one or two persons. Share the ¾ acre fenced backyard with the main house.
This is a furnished unit and towels, linens, sheets, toiletries, laundry and dishwashing detergent are provided. There is a coffee maker, toaster, and other kitchenware and silverware. Disposable flatware and paper plates are also available for guests who prefer no clean up. Coffee/Tea is provided. There is also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board and free wifi. There is a 29" CRT TV with a digital converter for basic channels. No cable or satellite. A DVD player, CD player, and some cds and dvds are provided. Just move in with your suitcase.

Our residential neighborhood is about a mile from the Shady Grove metro station, and 3 miles or one metro stop from the newly developed Rockville Town Square (website hidden) with numerous restaurants and shops. We are 5 miles from the shops and restaurants at Washingtonian Center (website hidden). We are also close to the ICC/I-370 and I-270. Lake Needwood (website hidden), a 75-acre lake where you can rent a boat, go fishing, hiking, picnicking, play golf, or go zip-lining, is only 2 miles away. There is a park with a ball field, playground and tennis courts a few blocks away.

GETTING AROUND
* METRO SUBWAY: Shady Grove metro station on the Red Line is an easy 10-15 minute walk away, or take a 1 minute walk to the main street on Redland Road for quick metro bus ride to the station.
* DRIVE: Easy drive south I-270 to the Capital Beltway and DC. I-95, I-395 and the Capitol Beltway are accessible allowing for an easy trip into DC or Virginia or to the Chesapeake Bay and Eastern Maryland. Or go north I-270 to Frederick & Hagerstown. The Hagerstown Premium Outlets are about an hour’s drive (50 miles) north.
